You don’t “spend” them as-such. What happens is, if you have a “positive” karma balance, it allows you to access certain things on the server that only players who have proved themselves to act reasonably, and engage with others in a non-toxic way, are permitted. Examples:
- Some game modes are only accessible to players with good karma.
- “Encouragement kits”, which are given to less-skilled players to help balance gameplay, can sometimes only be accessed by those with positive karma.
- Some events, giveaways, boosters, prizes etc are only available to players who have good karma.
The purpose of this is to encourage people to be kind to one another, and to behave in a reasonably kind / responsible way.
